I've wanted to study abroad since I was eight years old. My big sister did it and I thought it was the coolest experience. I never expected it to be this challenging and rewarding. I'm thankful for the people I've met, the progress I've made and the work I've put into being a better media student. Urbino, Italy is a small town bursting with life. I had never heard of it before applying to this program, but I can't imagine life without it now. The size of this town has allowed me to fully enjoy the history and the beauty as well as immerse myself in the culture. I've made Italian friends that I'll miss dearly, I think I know just about every waiter at the local café. I'm already thinking of when I can return to Urbino. While this chapter might be almost over, I'll always be thinking of Italy and afternoons in the piazza.
