Urbino is nothing short of inspiring. It is quiet but lively, and everywhere you turn there is something new happening. Whether its dancing with strangers, saying yes to new foods, or going to a spontaneous concert in the piazza, the energy of this town has breathed a new life into me that I am going to carry for a long time. This experience has given me the courage to try new things and connect with people from completely different cultures. It has taught me to say yes more often, to open myself up. To appreciate the simplicity of sitting outside at a caffè and watching the people pass. Because to me, taking in the little pleasures of life is what Urbino is all about.
Upon arriving in Urbino, I take a seat in the Piazza della Repubblica. The piazza truly is the hub of the town, and the perfect place to people-watch. My first impression of this small town is the quaint, slower-paced vibe compared to that of its more well-known neighbors. As I continue to watch people pass by, I feel as if I am witnessing a fashion show right before my eyes.
